OCEANFREIGHT LANDSIDE INFRASTRUCTURE CHARGES

Terminal operators in Australia have announced an increase in infrastructure surcharges effective 1^st February 2023.

The guide below shows current levels and published quantum’s for February 2023, along with the charge code that will continue to appear on your billing, but unfortunately at a higher level.

In order to facilitate the release of containers from wharves, surcharges are prepaid to terminals and billed at the time of shipment.

In summary the total increases are represented as;

FCL increase levels equate to AUD $50.00 per container.

LCL increase levels appear to be in the vicinity of AUD 2.00 per w/m.
