BULLETIN : OCEANFREIGHT GENERAL RATE INCREASE : NORTH/NORTHEAST + SOUTH/SOUTHEAST ASIA TO AUSTRALIA AND NZ – 1st July 2020.

A return to robust bookings for impending shipping periods heralds the arrival of a general rate increase on oceanfreight  contracts. The increases, published across the market, reflect the current state of affairs of demand versus space.

With demand increasing rapidly on the Asian to Australia routes the following areas will attract a rate increase from all carriers effective 1^st July 2020.

North/North East Asia GRI : 1^st July 2020

LCL :      USD 12.00 per cbm

20 GP : USD 300.00 per teu

40 GP : USD 600.00 per feu

South/South  East Asia GRI : 1^st  July 2020

LCL :      USD 8.00 per cbm

20 GP : USD 200.00 per teu

40 GP : USD 400.00 per feu

We encourage you to work with suppliers on forecasting in advance and booking at the first opportunity to assist with securing space as we approach these peak season shipping periods.
